PUEBLO, Colo. - Two high-profile Back Seat Buckers will face
each other Sunday in Super Bowl XLVI.
Chad Ochocinco is a wide receiver for the New
England Patriots, and Bear Pascoe, the
Central-California-raised cowboy, is a tight end with the New York
Giants.
But neither Ochocinco nor Pascoe will be the only participant in
the ABBI's new program to have won a Lombardi Trophy. Hall of Fame
quarterback John Elway twice won the Super Bowl
during his legendary career with the Denver Broncos.
Ochocinco, 34, is in his 11th year in the NFL, and his first with
the Patriots after leaving the Cincinnati Bengals. Pascoe, 25, is
in his third year in the league after a standout college career
with Fresno State.
Although Ochocinco has been at the forefront of social media like
Twitter, nearly half of Pascoe's Tweets in the month of January
were online conversations with PBR veterans like
@ShortyGorham, @BrendonClark, @RossColemanPBR,
@LukeSnyder82 and others.
Naturally, Gorham is pulling for the Giants, although he admits he
doesn't otherwise watch football. Gorham was among several involved
in the PBR to congratulate Pascoe on his Super Bowl
appearance via Twitter.

New York Giants tight end Bear Pascoe participates in a Back
Seat Buckers news conference in New York in January.
"He's a cowboy," said Gorham, when asked why he feels the Pascoe
and the Giants will win for the second time in the past five years,
"and not the kind from Dallas."
"I want the Pats," said PBR broadcaster Craig
Hummer, "but I think the Giants are going to shock the
world again."
Three days after the Giants defeated the San Francisco 49ers to
earn a trip to his year's Super Bowl, former PBR CEO and current
Indy Car CEO Randy Bernard took to his Twitter
account to congratulate Pascoe. He tweeted, "@bearpascoe
congratulation….see you in INDY."
In addition to Ochocinco, Pascoe and Elway, the Backseat Buckers
program includes two other sporting greats - Wayne
Gretzky and Reggie Jackson.
Gretzky, 51, is widely regarded as the greatest hockey player in
history, and Jackson, 65, is known as Mr. October for his World
Series heroics as member of the New York Yankees.
Like Elway, Gretzky and Jackson were both inducted into their
respective Halls of Fame.
All five athletes are expected to be in Arlington, Texas, next
month for the Iron Cowboy Invitational, which will also serve to
host the bull draft for the Back Seat Buckers
program.
PBR and ABBI fans can follow @Ochocinco, @BearPascoe, @JohnElway
and @OfficialGretzky on Twitter.
STRANGE BUT TRUE: As a member of the Giants,
Pascoe wears No. 86. However, in college he wore No. 85, the same
number worn by the aptly named Ochocinco his entire professional
career.
WATCH THE BALTIMORE INVITATIONAL Friday on the PBR Live Event Center at 8 p.m. ET, and Saturday on CBS Sports Network at 10 p.m. ET.
